Step By Step DIY Facial Guide

Updated: Oct 14, 2021

Regular "Me time" is essential for your emotional and physical well being. Why not pamper yourself to a DIY facial at home during your next "Me time"? Follow these 10 easy steps (30 mins) DIY facial guide, you will feel refreshed and rejuvenated immediately!

1. Cleansing

Start your facial by massaging your chosen cleanser into the face, neck & décolletage using soft flowing movements that stroke the skin upwards (to prevent overstretching the skin). Then wash the cleanser off with Bamboo reuseable pads or a heated towel. Repeat this step a second time to ensure all make-up and dirt is removed from the skin prior to treatment.

2. Toner

Spray toning mist over your face, or place toner onto Bamboo reuseable pads and wipe over your face, neck and décolletage.

3. Exfoliation

Apply your exfoliant and gently massage it into the skin for 1-2 minutes before removing it with heated towel.

4. Tone Again

5. Facial Massage

Apply an oil (Sweet Almond or Coconut Oil are great massage mediums) to your face, neck and shoulder area and massage for approximately 5 minutes.

6. Face Mask

Apply your chosen face mask to the face, neck & décolletage in a nice thick layer. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Avoiding the eye area. Remove with heated towel.

7. Tone Again

8. Serum

Apply 1-2 pumps of your choice of serum to the face, neck and décolletage using upward strokes.

9. Moisturise

Massage your choice of moisturiser into the face, neck and décolletage using upward strokes. You can add a couple of drops of facial oil for dry/mature skin types.

10. Eye Cream

Using a small amount of eye cream on the fingertip, gently apply around eye bone area.
