Stainless steel utensils are an easy way to bring classic elegance to any table. The Mei & Co stainless steel cutlery set is a stylish, sustainable addition to your home, made with the eco-conscious shopper in mind. Mei & Co focuses on supplying eco-friendly homeware and beauty products that reduce waste and treat the planet better.

Stainless steel options for cutlery, cookware, and containers are becoming an increasingly popular trend. Even after prolonged use, the metal keeps its shine for years, making it an attractive and earth-conscious alternative to plastic products. Here are some advantages to choosing stainless steel.

• PVD coated. We use a thin physical vapour deposition (PVD) coating to add colour to our products, such as the gold, rose gold or copper cutlery set. Coating steel with PVD is non-toxic, hypoallergenic, and eco-friendly. It does not release any pollution into the atmosphere during the manufacturing process. The coating is scratch-resistant, shiny, durable and dishwasher-safe.

• Non-Stick. Our cutlery is coated with a slick, protective layer, and it glides smoothly through food and liquids. The utensils are easy to clean and polish, and they possess an appealing natural shine.

• Corrosion-resistant. Stainless steel lasts a long time, making it a sustainable material choice for eco-friendly living. The steel will not rust or tarnish over time like many other types of metal. An outer oxide layer protects the cutlery, and if it is scratched, the oxygen in the air helps to rebuild its protective layer.
